Data management & portfolio analysis
Keep focus on your business
More and more originators are seeking to obtain better information about their loan books.
Leading-edge system
CrossLend is, at its core, a FinTech. Many bank and non-bank originators do not have the time, resources, or desire to develop a leading-edge in-house loan analytics system just for their own use. Economies of scale would appear to dictate that this can be better provided by a specialised external provider. With that in mind, approximately 50% of CrossLend’s 70+ staff are in data science, analytics, and development roles.
Independent data-verification
CrossLend can provide you, and in turn your shareholders and funding partners, with an added degree of confidence. CrossLend’s Data Suite tool checks originators’ loan data for issues and discrepancies. Any issues or discrepancies are quickly flagged to the originator, with meaningful descriptions of the problems provided to them at the point of upload.
Detailed & flexible analytics
CrossLend offers an advanced analytical toolkit, both to originators in its Data Suite and to institutional investors on its Marketplace.
Regardless of whether users are interested in loan performance or loan structure, CrossLend’s interactive analyses enable users to apply filters and receive updated numerical and graphical analyses in real time. Bank investors can even analyse the effect of an investment on their return on equity with our ROE calculator tool.
Originators, on the other hand, can also separate different loan portfolios based upon their own needs. They can perform separate analyses on an aggregate level as well as on individual portfolios which are currently funded or available for external financing.
Industry standard
investors, or shareholders. Most originators currently attempt to perform analytics in spreadsheet applications, which are limited not only in their reliability but also in their aesthetic quality. CrossLend’s Data Suite platform provides an advanced and standardised way for all stakeholders to view this information clearly.
Notably, CrossLend also applies standard definitions of defaults and arrears to loans and receivables, taking into account the difference in default definitions in particular (e.g. mortgages vs. credit cards). This allows internal and external stakeholders to make meaningful comparisons and gain relevant insights.
