Who we are looking for

We are looking for a sharp, self-starter, born negotiator, with a structured SaaS sales experience to join our sales force for our Data Suite, to deliver a brand new product by instilling value through the sourcing of loan originators (non-bank lenders or banks), whilst offering a tailor-made experience. This will be a challenging role with an ultimate goal of empowering our clients to achieve greater financial results.

The CrossLend Data Suite provides cutting edge loan data technology. Thanks to our standardised data format, our customers can analyse historical loan data down to its core, model expected portfolios, and deliver dynamic, up-to-date reports from an investor’s point of view. Our Data Suite is our solution to store and manage data centrally and accessibly.

What you bring on board

  • 2-3 years of proven commercial success of leading a complete sales process/value chain in a software SaaS environment, ideally within a B2B financial company
  • Strong understanding of the financial landscape and its main players, in particular, a good grasp of traditional and digital lending (banks, marketplace lenders, p2p lenders etc.) paired with a solid knowledge of fixed income products and capital markets
  • Strong technical understanding of SaaS solutions, ideally cloud technology
  • Excellent communication skills paired with flawless negotiation skills
  • Passionate about the recent developments in the B2B FinTech space and is enthusiastic about advising key players in the digital financial industry on innovation
  • Distinct and proactive self motivation, you burn with enthusiasm for your objectives and demonstrate perseverance
  • Studies in Business, Finance, Economics or in a similar field. We also appreciate any other study background if the result-driven SaaS background is delivered
  • Fluency in English is a must and any additional languages are a big plus

Why do we need you

  • Act as a key player in our sales force by delivering our new product through sourcing new originators and leveraging existing client relationships
  • Daily business tasks will include interactive web and/or face-to-face presentations/demos to our clients and coordinating lead generation until contract signing. You will oversee the entire selling process from inception to completion
  • Through your online and face-to-face web presentations of our Data Suite solution, you will quickly identify the challenges and needs of your clients and turn this into a solution we can offer
  • Develop a strategy and execution plan to develop CrossLend’s Data Suite product and service to the finance industry with the help of use cases, regular feedback from your clients and of course your own experience
  • Become the master of our CRM system to perform sales funnel analysis and pipeline management
  • Manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders such as a our sales, BD, legal analytics, tech and product teams to ensure a successful and smooth (after-)sale

What are we doing

CrossLend is developing a platform to connect institutional sellers (originators) and buyers (investors) of loans on a large scale. Originators are providing historical data that are used to create prediction models. Based on the predictions, investors can run several types of analytics to define their investment criteria. Once an investment is done, the platform will be fed with updates about the loan performance to provide further portfolio analysis. This provides investors with a high level of transparency to prevent crashes like the one that happened in 2008. In an additional step, the purchased loans can be resold on the platform to create a liquid market for loans to enable a better flow of capital between countries in the European Union.
